You'll need a Plusnet or other BT based landline to get our broadband.

Our landline phone service line rental costs £12.99 a month or £9.49 monthly equivalent if you pay 12 months in advance, including evening and weekend calls. Find out more about our packages.

Broadband speed: We'll give you the best download speed available on your line up to 16Mb if you live in a high speed area, dependent on your location, phone line, home wiring and time of day. Because of these factors your speed may be higher or lower than up to 16Mb. We'll provide you with a speed estimate when you check availability of our products. Find out why speeds vary.

Broadband with a 12-month contract: There's a £25 broadband activation charge, but we'll give you this free if you add one of our phone packages to your order. We'll also include a wireless router worth £40. (You'll just pay £4.99 P&P) If you leave within 12 months, you may be liable to pay charges relating to the set-up of your service and for hardware we have provided.

Broadband with no annual contract: There's a £25 activation charge (you'll pay this even if you add Home Phone to your order). You can use your own router if it's compatible or you can pay for one up front. Minimum term of 30 days.

Evening & weekend calls: Means calls to UK landlines beginning with 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 made Monday-Friday 19:00-07:00 and anytime Saturday or Sunday.

Hang up and re-dial before 60 minutes and you won't be charged. Calls to indirect access numbers and dial up internet access are excluded. See the Home Phone FAQs page for more details about call charges.

New customers who place an order for Plusnet Home Phone Evening and Weekend or Anytime packages and Plusnet Value Broadband or Plusnet Extra Broadband by 29th May 2012 get 100% off their monthly broadband rental charge for 6 months.

Unless you are having a new home phone line installed, the discount will be applied to the monthly rental charges for the first 6 months after which you will be charged the standard rental charge for your broadband service.

If your broadband service is activated at a later date to the phone service, charges will be pro-rated for the first month and the discount applied in the subsequent 6 months.

This offer is not available with any other Plusnet broadband service.

If you're having a new home phone line installed, your Home Phone activation date will be used as your monthly billing date. Standard charges apply for all services apart from the broadband rental charge during the discount period. For relevant charges please go to www.plus.net/info2/legal.

Installation charges of £49.99 are payable if you need a new phone line installed.

You will also be subject to monthly rental charges of £12.99 for your home phone service. Unless you take Line Rental Saver which means you monthly rental (payable in a lump sum) will equate to £9.49 a month.

If you leave Plusnet in your first 12 months after receiving a free set-up, router or house move, we'll charge you for these. If you remain with Plusnet for 12 months after receiving a free set-up, router or house move these charges will be waived. You can also choose to pay for any of these up front if you want more flexibility.
