Summary: If you didn't choose one while signing up, find out how to register your first Plusnet email address.

If you didn't choose yourself a Plusnet email address when you signed up for broadband, you can register one now by following these simple steps.

  1. Go to Email Settings under My Account.

    Click Manage My Mail.

  2. Click Manage My Mail and you'll be taken to the Add a new mailbox screen.

    Enter the first part of your new email address and click Add.

  3. All you need to do now is enter the first part of your email address and click Add

    Not sure what to enter?

    Most people find it easiest to use their first name or initials, but it's completely up to you.

    Why only choose the first part?

    Once registered, your email address will look like this: something@username.plus.com

    • The first part (before the @) is the bit you choose
    • The second part is based on your account username and will be used for any other Plusnet email addresses you want to register

  4. You'll now be taken back to the Email Settings screen

Your new email address will ready to use in a few hours.  We'll send an email to your contact address confirming details about your new address and how to start using it.
