1. December 2010 Changes

As of December 2010 we made changes to our Home Phone products. The table below details how the account type changed.

2. May 2009 Changes

As of May 2009 we made changes to our Home Phone products. The table below details how each account type changed.

3. Inclusive Calls

Home Phone Anytime+

Calls to standard UK landline numbers beginning with 01, 02 or 03

300 minutes of calls to Top 20 International Destinations (landlines only)

0870 calls will be treated as inclusive calls. Outside of inclusive call time 0870 calls will be charged at the same rate as geographical calls. (As of 22nd October 2009).

Home Phone Anytime

Calls to standard UK landline numbers beginning with 01, 02 or 03 for first 240 minutes of billing period

0870 calls will be treated as inclusive calls. Outside of inclusive call time 0870 calls will be charged at the same rate as geographical calls. (As of 22nd October 2009).

Home Phone Evening & Weekends

Calls to numbers starting 01, 02 or 03 between:

  • Evenings: 18:00-08:00 Mon-Fri
  • Weekends: 18:00 Fri - 08:00 Mon

0870 calls will be treated as inclusive calls. Outside of inclusive call time 0870 calls will be charged at the same rate as geographical calls. (As of 22nd October 2009).

Plusnet Essential

Calls to numbers starting 01, 02 or 03 between:

  • Weekends: 18:00 Fri - 08:00 Mon

0870 calls will be treated as inclusive calls. Outside of inclusive call time 0870 calls will be charged at the same rate as geographical calls. (As of 22nd October 2009).

Talk Anytime International 300 (formerly known as Talk Anytime)

Calls to numbers starting 01, 02 or 03, numbers starting with 0845 and 0870. 300 minutes of calls to Top 20 International Destinations (landlines only)

Calls to Plusnet Support and other Home Phone customers are free at all times.

Inclusive calls are only free for the first 60 minutes (30 minutes for international numbers).

After this, calls are charged for at the standard rates.

4. Call Charging

  1. Calls are charged for a minimum one minute duration
  2. Call durations are then rounded up to the next minute
  3. A setup fee of 10.9p is added
  4. The final total is rounded up to the next whole pence
  5. Check the appropriate Tariff for call rates
Example: A call of 1 minute 3 seconds
Call duration rounded up to 2 minutes
Final cost is for 2 minutes call plus setup charge rounded up to next whole pence.

1. Details of Setup Fee

The following call types will be subject to a 10.9p set up fee:

  • Non-inclusive 01,02 or 03 landline calls
  • Non-inclusive 0845/0870 (NTS) calls
  • UK mobiles
  • International mobiles
  • Premium rate services

The following call types do not attract a set up fee:

  • Fixed fee calls
  • Calls starting with a fixed fee
  • Calls to Plusnet Support (Only after May 11th 2009)

2. Details of Plusnet Essential Setup Fee

The following call types will be subject to a 10.9p set up fee:

  • Non-inclusive 01,02 or 03 landline calls
  • Non-inclusive 0845/0870 (NTS) calls
  • UK mobiles
  • International mobiles
  • Premium rate services

The following call types do not attract a set up fee:

  • Fixed fee calls
  • Calls starting with a fixed fee
  • Calls to Plusnet Support (Only after May 11th 2009)

5. Call Features

These prices apply to Home Phone Anytime, Anytime+, Evenings & Weekends and Plusnet Essential customers until their first billing date after 11th May 2009.
